Marcello Natili is assistant professor of Political Science and member of the EPRAhub at the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Milan. His research interests are in the field of comparative welfare states, and include labour market and social inclusion policies, eco-social policy and politics, the politics of EU (social) integration. Among his recent publications, the books ‘Social Policy and EU Polity-building Through Crises and Beyond’ (with Anna Kyriazi, Joan Mirò and Marcello Natili; Routledge, 2025) and 'The Politics of Minimum Income. Explaining Path Departure and Policy Reversal in the Age of Austerity’ (Palgrave MacMillan, 2019), and articles appeared in journals such as Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Public Policy, Journal of European Social Policy, Journal of Social Policy, Politics & Society, Social Policy & Administration.
